Disappointing. Dull; difficult to finish. With all of the hype surrounding this novel, I expected it to be much better. I won't be reading any more novels in this series.

I am not exaggerating when I rate this 5/5 stars...this book was amazing! It was filled with scandal, living with wealth, romance, family trouble...great combinations to keep the story interesting. Character development was also exceptional and I wish this series didn't end!!

I have to admit, it took me a while to get into, but once I got far enough, it was worth it!

I loved this book, and the others that followed! Definitely gave me a good dose of historical romance. It might be a bit frilly and fluffy but for those of you who love anything historical with a bit of romance thrown in, this is for you.

Fairly good read, soft historical romance complete with lavish settings and scandals. A little predictable, but good nonetheless.

If you're a fan of Gossip Girl, you will love this book. The story is set in 1899 unlike Gossip Girl, but other that that it is full of scandal, envy, lies, between high profile socialites. Fun and fast read!I actually like this better than Gossip Girl.
