I found Belly ridiculously annoying as a narrator, since she was waaay to whiny and mopey. I loved Jeremiah, he was such a sweetheart, but I REAAAALLLLYYYY love Conrad. He was such a dark mystery that I just sighed dreamily over. All in all, an enjoyable, mindless summer read, perfect for reading at the beach.

This book was very disappointing and the characters annoyed me. I didn't particularly enjoy this book, even though I saw so many recommendations. I'm not very interested in finishing the series either. I'm the type of person who lovessss teenage romance but this really wasn't a good book.

READ THIS BOOK! If you love romance and a little bit of drama with twists here and there this book is for you!

This book and the two that follow it are my absolute favourite books I've ever read. It was recommended to me by a friend and since then I've read it a few times over. It's a nice light read!

this was a really good book!!! the flashbacks distracted me but they helped understand the book better. <3 Conrad, and Jeremiah sounds like such a fun guy! this sounds like such an amazing summer I wish I could do that every year! cant wait to read the rest of the series.

The timeline is a bit distracting, but this is a kind of summer that every teen girl can dig her toes in the sand to: http://www.examiner.com/review/book-review-the-summer-i-turned-pretty-by-jenny-han

I fell in love with this book the moment I started it. The characters are amazing!

Honestly one of the best bppks I have ever read! I read it in under 24 hours, I just couldn't put it down. The characters are totally relatable and I am totally in love with Conrad!!

Really really love this book! very quick and fast! <3 conrad

Every year, Belly looks forward to one thing - summer. She looks forward to the view of the beach from her room, feeling the smooth ocean water between her toes , soaking up the warm sun, kind, lovely Susannah and the boys.Especially the boys. Beck's boys, her mother called them. Conrad and Jeremiah. Sweet, lovely, and together as always. The summers spent at the summer house were like a dream, a memory of the fun times they could all just be together like children. But this summer, everything changes. Big brother Steven heads off to college, Conrad starts spending more time alone, and the boys look at her in ways other than just friendship. It seems as though they'll never be the kids of the summer house again. But Belly soon starts to realize...the more everything changes, the more it all ends up the way it should have been all along. This summer, and all the summers before it, led up to this. Up to now.
