Add a CommentSome save the world, while others build barriers to make profits from the misfortunes of families in the world. GREAT UPLIFTING FILM. Some fathers NEVER give up, to save their dying children, even when THEY ARE TOLD TO STOP TRYING by the so called-experts of life & death. Extraordinary misfortune of a family plagued with debilitating disease & the father's extraordinary undertaking to save his dying children, while time is running out & the stakes & barriers are stacked higher & higher at every corner of the struggle.
Far too predictable & derivative of too may other films along the same lines. Harrison Ford appears to be sleepwalking.
excellent movie. Good message - persistence pays, don't give up. Love is very powerful.
Typical tear jerker.
This is a very good film. It was dramatic, but also funny at times. This was a movie that part of me wanted to see, but I kind of wanted to not see it. Well, I saw it anyways and I must say, I was wise to see it after all. So, I recommend this film.
Good - Extraordinary Measures (2010) 106 min. The film delivers a highly engaging drama about a couple searching for a medical solution to save their children from a fatal disease. Harrison Ford plays the reclusive scientist with the supposed cure but doesn’t have the financial support to develop the actual drug. Not sure if Brendan Fraser was ideal for the role but his animated acting works in relaying to the audience what he’s feeling at all moments in the film. Harrison Ford provides an expected solid performance.
