Add a Commenti usually dont like fairy/faerie stories that much, because well...i dont know. it seems like its basically the same thing. but the main character (although not as admirable as strong main characters or as annoying as whiny, useless ones) is actually pretty likeable. she's completely average, but for some reason, she still has CHARACTER. And i like her voice. I like the other characters too (kimber, finn, etc...) and i think that's what made the book so enjoyable - the characters. and the fact that the faerie plot was more political than magical, yet also had the right amount of each that theres a perfect balance. it wasn't too cliched of a plot. im excited to read the next book, and im hoping and praying that dana ends up with keane (<3) even though im pretty sure she won't. :( sighh....
Very nice book.
I loved this book!!! It wasn't your typical story on faeries. I thought it was interesting how humans could live amoung the fae, which is something I haven't read in any other book. I like Dana and how she's brave and funny and actually seems real. I've fallen in love with all of the guys; Finn, Keane, Lachlan, and (even though he betrayed her) Ethan. When I first met Kimber, I was thinking, "Oh boy, I'm gonna hate her," but now I'm totally jealous that I can't be friends with her! Can't wait to read the next one, and I am sooooo going to make some hot posset! :)
Disappointing - the plot never really went anywhere other than where the main character ended up. It is the first book in what appears to be a series, so maybe the next one will be better.
i loved this book! it kinda reminded me of the city of bones by cassandra clare. i cant wait to read the next one!
i really enjoyed this book.it is one of my favorites.i cant wait for the next 1.!!!
Excellent read! At first I thought the book was a bit vague, but as I read on I really got into it and couldn't put it down. I can't wait for the second book in the series, which is Shadowspell. I definitely recommend it if you like fantastical adventures with a bit of teen romance and drama!
if u like hot guys mixed with evil aunts and a protective father and troulbed mother this book id good 4 u it was a good read i enjoyed it
