This book was a great continuation from book 1 and I really enjoyed seeing how all the characters and their relationships are growing. I can't wait to see what happens next!

I cant wait to read this book!

I was really disappointed with this. I LOVED the first book and was really looking forward to reading this. But NOTHING happens. The pacing is awful. It's pages and pages and pages of the main character wondering what she is and how she'll choose between the two incredibly ripped, hot guys who (of course) both want her. The book is about 400 pages and the actual plot amounts to maybe 50.

Also, everything in this is so cliche, especially the girl who can't decide between two super-hot guys . . . one who is brooding and dark and mysterious and one who is too nice to actually exist. And since this choice takes up the majority of the book, it's actually a pretty tedious read.

“When one door closes, find another."
Kylie gazed back up. "And what if there isn't another door?"
"Then you try the window."
"And if there's not a window?" Kylie asked.
"Then you find a sledgehammer and make a window.”

“Why does ice cream go with a broken heart?” Kylie asked. “Because if you eat enough of it, it freezes the heart and numbs the pain for a bit.”

“Holiday's eyes pooled with tears. And that pretty much made it a cry fest. Even Della joined in the tear party.
Right then, Burnett walked in the office. His gaze went from one female to the other. Kylie could almost hear him groaning inwardly.
"I...I'll be...right out there." Obviously even a hard-bodied vampire trained by the FRU wasn't capable of dealing with four crying women.”

Ah teen lust... I remember camp stories like these (minus the supernatural bent). The bad girl is so vivid, I can picture her in my mind. Good details, again the book feels like a chapter of a larger story.

Step into the world of Shadow Falls, a camp that helps teens tap into their special…talents. Once you visit, you’ll never forget it—and you’ll never, ever be the same.

From the moment Kylie Galen arrived at Shadow Falls Camp, she’s had one burning question: What am I? Surrounded by vampires, werewolves, shape-shifters, fairies and witches, Kylie longs to figure out her own supernatural identity…and what her burgeoning powers mean. And now she’ll need them more than ever, because she’s being haunted by a new spirit who insists that someone Kylie knows—and loves—will die before the end of the summer. If only she only knew who she was supposed to save. And how…

But giving Kylie the most trouble is her aching heart. Gorgeous werewolf Lucas left camp with another girl, but he’s still visiting Kylie in her dreams. And Derek, a sexy half Fae who’s always been there for her when she needed him, is pushing to get more serious—and growing impatient, especially when Lucas returns. Kylie knows she needs to decide between the boys, and it’s tearing her up inside.

Yet romance will have to wait, because something from the dark side of the supernatural world is hiding in Shadow Falls. It’s about to threaten everything she holds dear…and bring her closer to her destiny. (From Goodreads)
