These are some seriously screwed up people. Genevieve REALLY needs to be on some serious drugs. Alex is an absolute fool for giving up a full-ride scholarship. For what? To babysit his drunk daddy??? What a wasted life. And Quinn - 10…

It took me a bit longer to get into this one, but once I did, it was good. I have some mixed feelings, as far as the end goes. Overall, it was a good read, but one of Kubica's less impressionable ones.

Kubica has created quite a puzzle and presented it in a unique manner. I, too, was jarred by the mature vocabulary voiced by the 19-year-old character Alex, but I think that was explained by the ending.

Didn't care for it.

Definitely a page turner, but not enough character development for me. Loved the setting, which I'm familiar with, having grown up in Michigan. Good for people looking for a fast-paced easy read.

***SPOILERS*** Don't you cry was my first book of Mary Kubica's, and it disappointed me very much. I don't mean it was the twist that disappointed me, but I mean there were several other things that were hard for me to ignore. Firstly,…

I gave this one 3 stars - it's OK but I found it over-written - it seemed to me that the author wanted to make full use of her thesaurus so sprinkled words throughout in place of more commonly used words. It was awkward because at times…

The anticipated “twist” in this one is easy to predict and you can skim read many unnecessary and tedious paragraphs of inner dialogue. The ending is abrupt and unsatisfying. Gillian Flynn does this genre of misleading the reader so much…

Started off a bit slow but with each chapter i read, i found myself becoming more and more hooked. It is an absolutely fantastic book with a great plot twist and is a great mystery!

Not as good as her other book, found myself skimming thru some of the story as it wasn't getting anywhere. Then the ending just seemed too abrupt.

I REALLY enjoyed this book! TWISTS! Twists I did not predict! I kept telling myself, just one more chapter...ok, maybe two more, oh shoot....I need to read one more.... the need to keep reading is very compellingI I didn't ever want to…

A dark, atmospheric thriller that kept me on the edge of my seat with its slow build up of tension. There are lots of twists that had me guessing who-dunnit right up to the very end.

This is my second book by this author and I am sure I will try a third one. If you like a good solid thriller, put this on your list.

DON’T YOU CRY are the lyrics from an old lullaby and are at the heart of the denouement of this satisfying psychological thriller. Two storylines are presented and told in the alternating points of view of two characters, Quinn and Alex,…

It was a little slow at the beginning but the book progresses and you have no clue what is going on. There is no way that you know who everyone is until the very end when the two stories that are unfolding come together. Great ending for…
