Gorgeous female bodies nearly fully on display. A cameo from Richard Dreyfuss (Jaws), to set the mood (the inevitable intertwining of bodily freedom with death). Elizabeth Shue, competent as the local sheriff. Steve Mcqueen's grandson, in a leading role. Jerry O'Connell, playing a sleazebag (quite good at it). Adam Scott. Christopher Lloyd. Eli Roth. Lake Havisu, in Arizona, during the hottest days of the year. Springbreak!!!!! interrupted by killer-fish!!!with no warning!!!!!

A movie that was originally made in 1978 as a parody of sorts for the JAWS films, by DIrector Joe Dante, this remake is bloody good fun. Production values are vastly superior to how they were in the 1970's, yet this is equally as low budget as it's predecessor.

Great special effects and no shortage of T&A for you guys. Check out the 'special features' addition to see what the French director had in mind for this film. And, did I say there were lots of nubile young women in the movie? LOL!

The plot is predictable and this spring break crowd seems more a victim of its own stupidity than of man-eating fish. I do, however, have to give the movie credit for its creativity. That is, not all deaths-by-piranha were the same.

Waste of time to watch this...severe nudity, lousy acting, juvenile attempt at gory graphics....sorely dissappointing...

Gory, dumb. If you are a guy, the mermaid scene is worth watching. Forget the rest.

It's definitely an adult movie because of all the nudity and certain scenes. I didn't find it to be amusing or should it be in the horror genre. I regret seeing it.
