This has somewhat poor recording quality - it was recorded live in 1960. I don't know how one can enjoy an opera without seeing it; at any rate I was listening in order to hear Bellini's melodies (he is reputed to be one of the greatest of melody inventors (discoverers?)). On the first disc track 3 has terrific winds behind (or supporting ) the singing; on disc two tracks 6 and 10 were notable, the latter for the melody played on the horn.
