This delightfully daffy comedy features Jack playing a very married ad man who poses as the husband of a sexy single girl to help her land a big inheritance.

I saw this movie with my parents when it was originally released, loved it, and watched it again to see if it was still good. It was. I think it is due to Jack Lemmon's huge comedic talent that this movie still provides belly laughs 50 years later. A comedy of mistaken identities caused by Romy Schneider needing to be married to inherit a fortune when of course she has left her husband. Jack Lemmon is volunteered for the role by his wife and the hubby, played by Mike Connors early in his career, shows up hoping to reconcile. Some of the show is dated, but overall it is very funny.

Again imagine my Joy when I took this movie out after greiving the end of Madmen. on AMC, that this movie was a comic send up of the Advertizing business and mistaken identity. Don Draper would have fit in quite well here. enjoyed the performances of Jack Lemmon, Dorothy Provine,( Doris Day would have be great in this part!) Edward G Robinson, and Surprise, Surprise, Michael Conners (Mannix) and those poke-a-dot Pajamas ( I want a pair !)

A frenetic comedy of multiple mis-identifications and a taste of larceny. Jack Lemmon demonstrates how he won two oscars. This is a very enjoyable comedy where you wait to see what new quirky developments await the characters.
