At the very height of her busy movie-career (1932-1938) - (actress/singer/dancer) Shirley Temple was nicknamed "America's Little Princess".

Born (1928) in Santa Monica, California - Temple was only 3 years old at the onset of her illustrious career's road to world fame and great fan adulation.

Through stills, archival footage, and interviews - This 1996 bio-documentary from A&E Network not only looks at the meteoric rise and fall of Temple's career in Hollywood - But - It also goes beyond those years when she became a foreign diplomat through the United Nations Assembly.

*Note* - In 2014 - Shirley Temple (85 at the time) died of lung disease, being a heavy smoker all her adult life.
