This book was disappointing, compared to the other two books I've ready by this author. It just wasn't plausible that a supposedly intelligent person (Casey) would be that prone to bobbing along, swayed by all the big men around her, not able to think things through or consider the different options. The ending was just cheesy.

We know when everything seemed to have been unraveled by the middle of the book that this was not to be the end. Indeed. There is so much bending, detours, mazes, and double backs that you start thinking that you're in a wild car chase and you don't know why, because you've only been to the mall buying a six pack and some fudge for the wife. In the last part of the book it's just seemed that they were just clutching at straws with each chapter bringing a new turn. The ending is tight ( a bit to tight ) for such a savvy guy. I found this book lacking in some details. Things just happened and the story sped along. A good read, but a tad unsatisfying.
