I borrowed this from Beaverbrook and did not want to give it back after doing carrots, zucchini, eggplant, cornbread, chicken, and more (but someone was waiting so I could not renew and renew and renew...) - its that good that I did not want to live without it ! ( so I bought a copy ! 18$ -but that is not part of a proper book review)
Great ideas for things to do with your cast. I got 3 new Lodges (griddle, 10 & 12" pan) at Walmart Ogdensburg - 15$ to 20$ each . Was not impressed till I sanded down the cooking surface ( btw which I recommend - now so smooth can fry egg and they don't stick etc) so this book is great if you want some good stuff to cook. I am thinking I should buy a dutch oven too as is needed for some yummy looking stuff in the book (always wanted enameled French unit but so expensive..... but lodge from Walmart usa costs less than the food you put in it - so why not just buy one. but that is not part of a book review)
