first, I must say, lovely cover! (which is what made me pick it up in the first place) in addition, a very light, enjoyable read, with a mixture of reliable friendships, magic, fantasy, and adventure all set in an oriental scene. recommended :)

Fox and Phoenix is a wonderful tale that takes the reader on a very splendid adventure with Kai, a young fellow living in China. When I first started this book, it hinted that it was a sequel to another story.
"Pig, Crane, and Fox" should be read first (rather short) if you are not into diving into the middle of the series.
Kai finds friendship, struggle, and success through his journeys toward the Phoenix Empire. You'll regret it by not joining him.
