Have you ever wondered what it was like growing up in Belfast during the 70s, delivering papers while the Troubles were in full-swing? Have you ever wondered what the heck a jimmy joe is? Do you know who Showaddywaddy was and why the band was so important to a teenage boy in love? (And, by the way, you can find them on youtube and the old clips are so hilariously funny with the guys in their parallel pants and platform soles.) Anyway, if you want the answers to these questions, read Mr. Macaulay's book and be prepared to laugh aloud.
