Yippie-Yi-Yo-Ki-Yay!!

Welcome to the roughest, toughest, meanest town in the entire American West - Dodge City.

It's here that the no-nonsense marshal, Matt Dillon, tries to keep the peace as he confronts more than his fair share of some of the most ruthless outlaws, mean-mouthed rustlers, and trigger-happy gunslingers ever imagined.

So saddle up, folks! And get yourself ready for 38 rootin-tootin' episodes of trailblazing action, drama, and excitement as TV's "Gunsmoke" airs for its 2nd season (1957-1958).

Only one episode on volume 2 written by Sam Peckinpah, so these particular episodes aren't as edgy as some of the previous ones were. Even so, I still enjoy these old Gunsmoke episodes very much.
