From the Brooklyn-based company, The World According to Shorts, this dvd for grown-ups is a collection of animated short films which have been featured at international festivals. Produced in eight European countries and South Africa, the shorts are done in different styles and tell a wide variety of stories. Well worth watching the entire collection. Sadness alert: the extra in the dvd is called "The Runt", and is about a boy who rescues a runt rabbit, in spite of his father's and uncle's warnings about the inevitable end...
