Chris is driving through West Virginia. He takes a detour down an old dirt road, where he becomes distracted and doesn't see an SUV stuck in the middle of the road. He plows into the back after his tires suddenly blow. The driver of the SUV and Chris compare notes on their accidents, they discover that the road has been sabotaged with barbed wire. Two of the group are left to look after the cars while the others set out to find help. However, they soon discover they've become prey to a family of cannibalistic mountain men who have become horribly disfigured through generation of in-breeding.

Oh,man! This movie is a trip! But i must admit i did enjoy it and have it in my collection. The audio is good in this movie, but it mostly consist of all around sound and should be viewed on your HOMETHEATER!. Those freaks that live in the woods are the stars of this movie. With plenty of innocent victums to prey on. I do have two favorite scenes for audio and video. At the beginning we see a couple climbing. The man being at the top dissapears first. You can hear what sounds like his body being snapped, and then watching the lady below freak out. I also enjoyed the scene where three people jumped into a large tree while the observation tower caught fire. The scene where a machete cuts a ladies face in two is done very well. That scene caught me off guard. Very nice. But this movie is filled with very good horror scenes that i enjoyed. I'm giving this movie 3 and half stars. Good visual effects for gore, good bad guys, and decent sound. French toast with bacon and suasages. Orange juice.
