Macho, a construction worker, Tony Parisi proudly voted for Prop 8 (against gay marriage). He's the kind of guy who takes great pleasure in ridiculing his gay co-worker, Steve. That is until fate and a magic Christmas ornament step in to teach him a lesson. Two weeks before his wedding, Tony finds that he is suddenly gay, while Steve learns he has mysteriously turned straight. Now, Tony must scramble to 'straighten out' in time for his wedding, but not before he walks a mile in Steve's shoes.

I wasn't expecting much from this movie and I didn't get it. But if you like the sort of Freaky Friday body switch movies this is an interesting addition to the genre. Both gay and straight stereotypes abound, and in all honesty some of the jokes were lame. The nice surprise though is the lead character. Unlike other characters whose movies are all about them learning a lesson, Steve is at times actually likeable even before the body switch and it is explained early on in the film where his homophobia comes from, so it is hard to hate the character. Not a bad movie, but not a classic either.
