As a Certified Financial Planner and a Certified Professional Consultant on Aging, this is, hands, down the very best written layman's resource for coping with the health challenges of aging parents in Canada. I make it a point to pass on copies to my clients when they face the daunting challenges of the failing health of one or more parent.

While the book is written based on an Ontario family (thus the majority of references relate to the Ontario Ministry of Health), the same basis systems exist in virtually every other Province in Canada.

Easy to read and follow, this book focuses on the human aspects of the inevitable while providing invaluable directions to seeking out assistance. Candid in their mistakes and frustrations, the book is something every baby boomer living near or far from their parents should make time to read.
