it is the best book ever!!! In the other books it talk about Grimalkin but you do not know the back round story. i can see why she want to kill the fiend.

I didn't really care for it. I won't spoil it, but it was as if the author couldn't think of what to write about, so he just made up something and threw it into the book. It was never talked about in the previous 9 books (plus the short stories), so I found that to be very lazy writing. All I can say is thank goodness the next book is about Tom Ward and Co. again. Grimalkin is an interesting character, but this entire book felt like complete filler. They should have made it into a short story and not a 9th book.

Frightening or Intense Scenes: This isn't really all that serious, just let it be known that if you're a very easily scared person don't read this. I rarely ever get scared but these books scare the crap out of me. I love them, though!:)
