I loved Mr.Monk on TV, and I like the books, too. In this one the relationship between Monk and Natalie is different from other books I've read, and I don't know what to make of it. I loved reading about Monk's quirky way of living.

Different. If this had been the first Mr Monk book I read, I probably would not have tried a second one. Too much verbal sniping, among other things.
