I believe Dyer is not published in Canada . There is a history about this. Too bad, because he is a very bright guy especially about Canadian political affairs.

Lots of good information. Easy to read.

Gwynne Dyer is an entertaining columnist and this collection of articles is quite engrossing. Although he prefaces the book to say the material reflects a slightly optimistic look at the future (he actually just says there's a chance we're not totally f**ked), I didn't share his glimmer of hope.

Gwyne Dyer is one of my favorite writers and a good reason to read the Spectator. This book is his columns arranged to cover some topics. It is uncanny how well he analyzes political situations around the world. He does not follow the lines presented in mainstream television, but a much deeper understanding.

Easy read, a compilation of some of his columns on a range of subjects (wish I knew what paper, if any, carried his column here), plenty of insight and opinion too.
