Tuyet's story is truly one to behold. A orphan girl in Vietnam during the war, her innocence in the way she perceived things only contributes to the sorrow hidden in the background of the story. Sometimes, we don't quite see war as the horror that it truly is. Perhaps this may be because of its "insignificance" now that it has passed. This is precisely why we should never forget about the tragedies and monstrosity. However, as happiness can be found in even the darkest of times, a bumpy road can have an amazing destination. This little girl's journey will warm your heart. 5/5 stars

Tuyet was one of the last children airlifted out of Saigon at the end of the Vietnam War, but now her challenge is to make her way in a foreign country with one leg badly damaged by polio.
