After Sleeping Beauty wakes up, she doesn't have an easy time of it. All her friends and family are dead. The world has changed. She wasn't all the pretty to start with, and now frail after all that sleep, "beauty" is only used to describe her ironically. A fabulous book that follows Rose as she tries to come to grips with the changes in her life, while we slowly learn why she was put to sleep in the first place.
