I am continuing to enjoy this series.

Charles has finally gotten engaged and is getting his chance to enter the political arena that he has aspired to for so long. While campaigning in Stirrington, the murder of two journalists in London captures his interest.

It was inevitable from the first book that Charles and Jane would get married and I have liked their quiet romance. The addition of an apprentice has been fun and the campaign was interesting to read about. Having Charles outside of London and not in the thick of things made the story a bit less than ideal for me but the mystery was good.
