Welcome to Bedlam Heights, a hip newly converted apartment building in the heart of Leeds. The high quality rental apartments offer stylish 21st century living, but behind the facade lie unimaginable horrors, for this former pre-Victorian asylum is haunted by the ghosts of its dark and violent past. Kate, who lives and works at Bedlam Heights, thinks anyone who believes in ghosts is a fool.

Weak story lines, to the point it's just to boring to watch.

Not bad, but a little repetitious and predictable. Should appeal to the younger generation.

- I liked 'roadshow rigoletto's comments - very appropriate !

After watching the first episode I almost gave up on this one, but luckily I gave it a chance and came to love it. The acting is good, and it has a bizarre yet fun storyline. I would recommend this to fans of Science Fiction/Horror shows.

Let's get something straight first. I don't believe in ghosts, spirits, poltergeists, or ectoplasmic manifestations. Oh, and spooks either. Well, unless they are employees of the CIA or MI5. And yet, due to a common pattern of upbringing in these United States, I grew up on ghost stories, horror films, and the like. I quite like them when they are well done. I might even say that there is something essential about them. But this one? Well, I watched every one of its six episodes and this, something rather like "Friends" with spooks who are living on society's edge because they threaten property values, was quite boring. By the second disk, I was allowing it to play on, and reading a book. In the end, it seemed more interested in hitting all of the generationally appropriate demographic markers than in telling a story that is exciting. Wasn't that the point? Did they not get that memo after the story meeting? Clearly more interested in the frisson brought on by the sight of someone waking up from a nightmare in her scanty nightie in the hallway, or from a faint wiff of bisexuality than in a bit of the ol' horror. What's the moral of this one? Attractive people are haunted, too? Don't hate them because they are both beautiful and see dead people? My recommendation? Move it on along, ladies and gents. Please, there's nothing here to be seen here. Nothing whatsoever.
