Timeless classic that the family is sure to love. Waaaay better than the dated cartoon that lacked humor, charm, and any entertainment value whatsoever. They gave the title a much needed update with great actors such as Halle Berry and John Goodman, anyone who doesn't appreciate this film obviously must be completely ignorant or simply just blind.

You know, it really figures that director Steven Spielberg was involved in this dreary, little movie-project, serving as Executive Producer.

One of my biggest beefs about The Flintstones was that not one single actor in this stone-age fiasco suited their character roles at all.

The Flintstones' lame story revolves around Fred (of course) being erroneously promoted, at the quarry, to an executive position. The Rubbles adopt Bam-Bam. And Wilma gets all stupid and jealous over Fred's sexy, new secretary, Miss Stone.

Yawn. It's all so trite and predictable that even a small child would surely prefer the classic cartoon series over this utterly forgettable film any day..... Believe me - It's 'Yabba-Dabba' Boring!

Why-oh-why, did they have to go and make this one, anyways? Why? Like, why couldn't Hollywood have just left The Flintstones alone?

I think that turning The Flintstones into a feature-length, live-action "cash-grab-of-a-movie" did the animated TV Series from the 1960's a great disservice. With this particular offering they almost managed to completely ruin the TV show's delightfully simple charm in no time flat.
