For twelve years, the dread fortress of Azkaban held an infamous prisoner named Sirius Black. Convicted of killing thirteen people with a single curse, he was said to be the heir apparent to the Dark Lord, Voldemort. Now he has escaped, leaving only two clues as to where he might be headed: Harry Potter's defeat of You-Know-Who was Black's downfall as well. And the Azkaban guards heard Black muttering in his sleep, "He's at Hogwarts." Harry Potter isn't safe, not even within the walls of his magical school, surrounded by his friends. Because on top of it all, there may well be a traitor in their midst.

This is the third book of the Harry Potter series. The book is about a boy named Harry. He is special. He is the boy who lived: the only person to have ever survived a killing curse inflicted by the evil Lord Voldemort, who launched a brutal takeover of the Wizarding world, only to vanish after failing to kill Harry. I really enjoyed the first 3 books of the Harry Potter series and just couldn't wait to get my hands of the third one. This book contains a lot of vivid explanations which help the reader really visualize the novel, which in my opinion, was the characteristic I liked most in the book. I just wish there were more antagonists present in the novel. This novel has a lot of descriptions and world building present, which is one of the essential element for a fantasy novel. I totally recommend this book to teenagers aged 13-18. I give this book a 4.5 out of 5 stars.
