Definitely one of the most compelling shows I have ever seen. The show takes you on a ride and consistently plays with expectations.

The crime is solved at the end of Season 2. Season 3 was a let down. I may watch these 2 seasons again, but not the other seasons.

I stumbled on this miniseries, patterned after the Danish original, on Netflix and I am absolutely hooked. Mireille Enos' angry/disturbed/wise little bad@$$ character Linden dominates the show, and she (Enos) has excellent chemistry w/her partner, Holder/Joel Kinnaman (a native of Sweden -- unbelievable -- NEVER would've guessed that). The writing, the cast, everything -- top shelf. FIVE STARS.

I was looking for the original Danish series as I'd seen one of the episodes & it was excellent. This is the Hollywood version, it's ok but not as good.

Didn't like the characters. Felt the story dragged.

I have watched all 4 seasons of this outstanding series. The reason for its absolute brilliance is the remarkable chemistry between detective Sarah Linden (Mireille Enos) and detective Stephen Holder (Joel Kinnaman). These two actors internalized and became the parts they were playing. I am still hoping for a 5th season.
