Lovely art, but the story was really ominous and disjointed. I knew it would come out ok, but young children would need reassurances, I think. No good reason why the boy's family couldn't have adopted poor Mr. Tipps *before* going away for the weekend and making him think he was abandoned all over again, except that then there'd have been no story.

The palette of colours successfully creates different contextual atmospheres to immerse oneself in. The art is so in-depth that even the light from a flashlight is used to place "you" in the story with Mr. Tipps.
