While there are some duds, in the collection, all in all however it just does not get better than this. Duck Amuck, Scarlet Pumpernickel, What's Opera Doc, and many, many more. And this is only Vol. 1. Despite DIsney's immense influence, it was the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies that define what we think of when we think of cartoons, and this collection shows why. Sometimes there is no real gag, but the expression on Daffy's face, or a line spoken by Sylvester, makes it hilarious.

An exceptional two disc collection of Looney Tunes cartoons. The second disc contains some of the more obscure ones, though there's plenty there that's familiar. The first disc contains a lot of personal favourites. All in all, many of the essential characters get at least a showing throughout. Very worthwhile, though sorting out your own favourite might be a serious challenge...
