It's a pg-13 movie, when it should have been R-rated, and the insane plot twist is just plain stupid. If it was a simple, R-rated comedy it could have been hilarious. I like the 2 leads and they were funny together, but so many painful scenes to watch in-between the handful of funny ones. The commentary track is more entertaining that the regular audio track.

cult classic comedy that still holds up. Stupid / simple humor that was probably created primarily for teenagers and stoners.

Dude, where's the solid funny movie that I thought this was going to be? It was a lot worse and less funny than I thought it would be, especially given its status as a well-known comedy of that time period. I mean, it still had a solid handful of funny jokes and gags, but all in all it was far from a sweet comedy. I'm kinda let down, dude.
