Master documentary filmmaker Raoul Peck envisions the book James Baldwin never finished. The result is a radical, up-to-the-minute examination of race in America, using Baldwin's original words and a flood of rich archival material. Excellent movie. It brings a real appreciation to the voices of the Civil Rights movement of the 60s. These were people of thought and passion whether you agreed or disagreed with their stance.

Easily the most piercing, eloquent, insightful examination of race relations I've ever seen. Baldwin's scalding genius nearly burns through the screen!
