This is a great adventure story. A time in Greek history which I think has been imbued with the culture of the times. The main character is so poignant. It's a rich and enjoyable read.

I also liked the cadence of the writing. It's written in the present and in places breaks into a rhythmic almost poetry. Added to the urgency of the story.

It would be a good one to read aloud to a class I think.

I love this book its so inspiring and the story behind it is amazing. Glad to finally see a Greek myth based book that NOT Rick Riordan. I have nothing against him its just I want to read something different for a change.
