Hilariously FUNNY, this is one funny movie if you just want to laugh and laugh. Makes me wanna go back to New Orleans and Essence Festival 2018 is coming up in July.

Girl's Trip has been one of the best movies I have seen in a while. I laughed so much and smiled so much. It is the story of four friends reuniting after many years for a weekend out and it was brilliant. It had the right amount of comedy, outrageous moments, sad moments and sweet moments. It was also one of those movies which sent a really powerful message out to people, especially women, about loving yourself. The acting in this movie was perfect and overall, it's a movie which I will most likely sit down and watch again and again.

" I think the cast was great in their roles, especially the four core ladies, their friendship was believable, they were honest to each other, to the audience and to themselves. They felt like real friends. I think the film would have failed on being another raunchy summer comedy if it wasn’t for Queen Latifah, Regina Hall, Jada Pinkett-Smith and Tiffany Haddish’s rapport with each other and their likability. Each lady is actual very likable. The sisterhood is the core of this film, it’s the humor, the emotion/drama and main reason to see the film..."

I kept on hearing about the "grapefruit scene" and it was all that everybody said it was! Ms. Hadish came to my attention when we watched Keanu, here she's even funnier.

I will agree with some other reviewers who say there are some scenes that are way over the top. However, I'm just putting that down to "what's good for the goose is good for the gander." If men can always make fart and pee jokes, why can't women?!? Equal rights for all bad jokers. :)

I must agree with many comments here, this film demeans women, and doesn't do any good to men who play sports either. What is interesting is the extras in the background. If you examine the shots they are mostly Black women alone. Which is strange to see, shot after shot. This film is not empowering, and promotion of drug use is not cool. A shame as there was very very talented people involved.

In the spirit of "Bridesmaids," this comedy shows the girls can be just as nasty as the boys! It's not great, but it is entertaining, largely due to the cast. Tiffany Haddish's over the top performance has been rightly singled out. It goes on about 20 minutes too long. Special appearances by Ne-Yo and Mariah Carey.

Parts of it were very funny. Tiffany Haddish is my new favorite. I love her. Other scenes should never have been included-such as the one with the zip line over Bourbon Street. Disgusting. And for such talented ladies to agree to such scenes surprises me. If you can get past that, you'll find some funny parts. NO KIDS.

Brash, irreverent, and funny as hell. Not for children.
