The story took some tangents that didn't warrant the amount of time it took to develop. Boring in parts, annoying in parts, overall a letdown.

Different, worse. The actors are familiar and perform well but the story is not the same. Everyone is talking in a 90 mile an hour excited rush most of the time. Not realistic. The scenes are to short and the rapid changes give the film a flash and flicker effect. It's more irritating then entertaining.

I was so excited when I heard that Netlfix picked up this show, I was excited to see familiar faces again and see what their life had been like after 12 years since the season finale.

Well, let's just say, the show lost a little of it's magic for me and what made it so special.
I wasn't really a fan of what the future looked for Rory nor how she turned out. I found her to be a spoiled, rich kid who doesn't realize how hard her family worked(especially her mother) to give her the kind of life that was in no way, reflected of what Lorelai had growing up as a teenager.

The other original characters that I wanted to learn more about(like Jess for example) didn't get the kind of writing they deserved.

All in all, it wasn't bad but I am not exactly itching for season 8.
