This manages to be half way decent because Halle Berry has no superpowers or magical weapons; she's just an average mom who will do anything to get her kid back. Its not spectacular but it is fairly realistic.

Super intense from beginning 'til end. Very good movie.

this movie was so bad it was good. it's not a comedy but I was LMAO at how absurd the lead character's decisions were. for one, she couldn't watch her kid while on her phone but instead played marco polo to keep track of him

terrible script + acting = comedy gold

Excellent movie. Both the acting by Halle Berry and the content were engaging. The kidnappers were brazen, bold snatching someone's child in broad daylight. They also did their worst to get the audience to hate them. They stopped at nothing to get that child, leaving a pile of cars, dead patrol, etc in their wake. Their commitment was amazing.

It was very emotionally charged and it drew me in because of the mother's relentlessness to get her child. I was rooting for her ALL THE WAY. Those fools took the WRONG KID!!! I was so glad when Karla deals with them accordingly. Kidnappers need to encounter a Karla character every single time to deter them from kidnapping someone's flesh and blood. And a helpless child nonetheless.

I wonder if this were to happen in real life how many people, whether in the park, on the highway, streets, whatever would stop to call the authorities to help a parent in need. This was one of the frustrating things for Karla. No one seemed to report what was going on particularly on the highway.

Karla gets to the police station and realises that if she waits for the authorities, she may be waiting a long time to find her kid. At that juncture, she decides its do or die. And she gets her boy back.

I was rooting for Halle since she hasn't made a decent movie in decades. She did not disappoint. It's a fast paced, frenetic movie that really delivers. I enjoyed it.
