Probably the best Spider-man movie I've ever seen, all the scenes are exciting, webbing each other up like heartbeats.Tom Holland is one of the funnest Spider-man ever. The costume makers did a great job on making the costumes, and they found some really good actors. especially Tom Holland, Zendaya and Michael Keaton. Tom Holland was such an awesome Spider-Man. Some funny one-liners thrown in there as well .Although Peter Parker has some trouble when his Spider-man and his school life collide.

A light, fun film, with plenty of good humor and likeable characters who work well together. The action, oddly, is where the movie falls a little flat. It was a common complaint against the first of the Sam Raimi Spider-Man movies that Willem Dafoe was scarier without the Green Goblin costume, and although the Vulture design is a good deal better than that, Michael Keaton is similarly more effective without it. On the other hand, Homecoming finds a way to do an origin story without actually making it an origin story, in the process avoiding the chore of showing Uncle Ben get killed yet again. Tom Holland, meanwhile, is probably the best Spider-Man/Peter Parker combination yet.

A good film. The school stuff dragged a little, but did well in showing highschool Peter. I have to say that Michael Keaton did excellent as the Vulture and really stole the show. The re-imagining of classic Spider-man classmates was a little weird, but understandable. I'd say worth it, not the best MCU film, but up there. As a spiderman film, it did well. Better then the Garfield Spidermans, and at least on par with the first two films of the original trilogy if not a little better.

Gwen7154 summed it up pretty well—this movie was so good! I recommend it to any Marvel fan.

This movie was great! Tom Holland was such an awesome Spider-Man. Some funny one-liners thrown in there as well. I like realistic Marvel movies, and this one really hit me. Peter has internal struggles as well as external, and he gets smashed into things a lot ;) Decent effects, superb acting, and hilarious jokes. Overall, there was nothing I really did not like—perhaps only an annoying use of f**k at the very end. I am looking forward to the sequel!

Wonderful new Spider-Man portrayal. The movie was a bit lackluster and too heavily reliant on the shared MCU roots. I also feel this was because of the Sony license and it's restrictions on character use. But overall a decent movie that should make you laugh and adore this cute little guy as he's trying to figure it all out.

I disliked it from beginning to end.
Probably the worst of the Avengers Universe movies and definitely the worst Spiderman movie. This P.O.S. ranks above Fantastic 4 and below Doctor Strange in the whole Marvel genre.
Terrible villains (basically just some no-name arms dealer guys); poor special effects (especially his web slinging in the beginning); way, way, way, way, way, way, WAY too much high-school nonsense; a Stark suit that gives him 90% of his powers; and then the post-credit scene that just proves they had run out of ideas.
If other Avenger movies had been this bad, I would have stopped watching a long time ago. So I'm hoping it was just a fluke.

I surrendered half way through the movie. The Spider-man franchise has always had a background of teenage angst. Unfortunately, this movie is more about teenage high school angst than it is about Spider-man.

Squeaky clean Youth version with not a single F word (at least not a completed one, see notes below) just a few bullshxts and "darns." mho is the origin story in Spider-Man (2002, 2004 & 2007) with Tobey Maguire was more compelling though this latest version has better actions, villains (Vulture) and latest CGI. Like, Vrouk, a bit less on the HS drama bit should move the story along better, but it is a Youth film!

Many quotes in IMDb including this:
How do you think your buddy Stark paid for that tower, or any of his little toys? Those people, Pete, those people up there, the rich and the powerful, they do whatever they want. Guys like us, like you and me... they don't care about us. We build their roads and we fight all their wars and everything. They don't care about us. We have to pick up after them. We have to eat their table scraps. That's how it is. I know you know what I'm talking about, Peter.
