Anna Faris is giving advice to listeners. It's like a "Dear Abby" column. She even reads comments from people who called in her podcast. At some point she says she was happy about getting a book deal but bummed that she had to write the actual book! She also mentions she still has a hundred pages to write and it seems like too much. She's apparently a feminist, it's mentioned a dozen times in the book. She also talks about her lip fillers and breast augmentation. That's about as personal as she gets. The rest is general ramblings or reading quotes. Maybe if she had told stories about her life, anecdotes about acting, it would have been interesting. But no, it's more or less nothing going on. And she's reading the book that she wrote herself and mispronounces some words. Like lived. Twice. It's not even the same meaning and doesn't make sense in your sentence? How could no one have noticed it. Don't they listen before they finalize the CDs?
