What a neat story! Written in both English and Arabic dialect of Chad, this is the story of a curious calabash cat who sets out to find where the world ends.

Set in the lands of Africa, he meets helpful animals with their own opinions on where the world ends. They offer to show him. But Calabash isn't satisfied with their answers. Until he meets one animal who gives him an answer he feels, indeed, is the right one.

The simple colours, very few, with the textured designs of the animals' bodies are charming. Loved this story.

Could start a fun discussion with a child about where they think the world ends and which animals "know" the answer.

Loved this book.
