Deja Entendu is an amazing album by the band Brand New. The lead singer of this band, Jesse Lacey, is a lyrical genius and all of the guitar and musical parts are super good as well. In my opinion, the best songs on this album include Sic Transit Gloria, The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows and The Boy Who Blocked His Own Shot. The songs are really meaningful, like Guernica which is about the lead singer’s grandfather who suffered from cancer. I would rate this album 5/5 stars.

Aggressive guitars accompanied by some great lyrics makes for an emotional album that puts it into the hardcore indie mix.
