I learned a few things from this book, but overall I don't think it came across as it was meant to. The authors seem to be much better with math than proofreading. They kept repeating that they'd explain in plain english terms, but then they'd throw in some more big accounting terms. They also repeated things too much and talked down to the reader, comparing shoe purchases and chocolate binges to money problems. I didn't think it was cute; it seemed sexist.
