His tales of brotherhood and blood frighten her. But his touch ignites a dawning hunger that threatens to consume them both...
Great book and somewhat addicting. I wish however that I hadn't read this book with high expectations. I am sure that I'll enjoy the series more and more as I continue on with the rest.
Loved that the book had more meat than just a happy-ever-after romance. Loved that it combined my love for UF and romance. Good action and introduction of intriging characters with hilarious names! Even Butch got a tough-guy name! Maybe a clue that he's a part of this... Wrath certainly is an interesting character. His blindness and insecurities make him unique.
I wished Ward had given me more with Beth's transition into a vampire. There was a lot of suspense leading up to it and I expected more. I guess since she's half human the change wasn't entirely that drastic.
Look forward to the next one.
