I know this will date me but I saw Pink Floyd on the original "Dark Side of the Moon" tour (1972 or 1973). The first half was oldies climaxing in an explosive and Scary "Careful with the Axe, Eugene". The 2nd half was "Dark Side of the Moon". It was only the four of them - Gilmour, Waters, Wright & Mason (plus back-up singers & sax player). They kicked ass that night. My gripe with the Pulse show was they seemed to need an extra drummer, an extra keyboard player and an extra guitar player. I have noticed many bands going this route with Springsteen topping the list with 17 band members. There might be an extra fullness but I figure if something worked once and other than Waters breaking it, just leave it. Still, it was a gas to see the show.

Man, I would've given my right arm to have been at that concert. Well, maybe my right pinky toe (nail clipping). A mind-bending laser show, and an excellent sampling of their repertoire. (I really enjoyed "One Of These Days".) Even though he looked bored most of the time, bassist Guy Pratt did an admirable job filling Roger Waters' shoes. This DVD's a must have for any Floyd fan. Good bonus features, too (alternative screen films, Billy Corgan tribute, behind the scenes video, etc.) Too bad I'm so honest, otherwise, I'd tell the library that I accidentally misplaced it... (I'm kidding, B.P.L. staff -- have a sense of humor) R.I.P. Richard Wright. FIVE STARS.

Fantastic, but it lacked Waters. I still can't figure out which one is Pink?

HOMETHEATER IS PROUD TO PRESENT THIS CONCERT. I have seen Pink Floyd once at the Nassau Colisseum quite some time ago and was floored when they performed many of my favorite songs complete with special effects. This dvd collection is equally empressive with additional songs taken from the album "The Divsion Bell". The sound of Floyd is so cool in 5.1 audio sound it's like there right there in your home performing. Your speakers become alive with their music. The lasers can be bright at times, but the show is a monster. I'm giving this dvd 5 stars!!!!!!! For 5.1 sound, songs taken from another album, and the special effects are very cool. A tall glass of Heineken, a ham and turkey with cheese hero, and Utz potato chips.

"Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day; fritter and waste the hours in an offhand way. Kicking around on a piece of ground in your hometown; waiting for someone or something to show you the way. Tired of lying in the sunshine, staying home to watch the rain. And you are young and life is long, and there is time to kill today. And then one day you find... ten years have got behind you -- No one told you when to run; you missed the starting gun. And you run and you run to catch up with the sun, but it's sinking. Racing around, to come up behind you again. The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older; shorter of breath, and one day closer to death. Every year is getting shorter, never seem to find the time. Plans that either come to naught, or half a page of scribbled lines. Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way; The time is gone, the song is over, thought I'd something more to say..."

"All that you touch All that you see All that you taste All you feel All that you love All that you hate All you distrust All you save All that you give All that you deal All that you buy, beg, borrow or steal All you create All you destroy All that you do All you say All that you eat, and everyone you meet All that you slight, everyone you fight All that is now All that is gone All that's to come, and everything under the sun is in tune, but the sun is eclipsed by the moon."
