It is like the joys of the outdoors while in the comfort of your own home. Each chapter covers a different animal, such as bears, coyotoes, etc. There is even a short chapter on bees! I loved the chapter on the shark. If there is an animal you don't want to read about, you can just skip to another chapter, the order is of no importance.

This book really drew me in. The writing is so beautifully descriptive that it brings you right into the magic of every moment. There is also some great unintentional observations on the human condition. It made me want to get back out on the trails...sigh!
