Oooh-la-la! It's Marilyn Monroe (aka. Norma Jeane Mortenson).

To say that Marilyn Monroe was one of the most marketable Hollywood stars of her generation (the 1950s) would truly be an understatement. More than half a century after her tragic death, she stills continues to be considered a major pop culture icon.

This glossy volume titled "A Life In Pictures" not only features many iconic images of Monroe - But it also includes numerous casual snapshots and childhood portraits of her, as well.

And, as an added bonus - Quotations by and about Monroe are presented throughout.

Sad to say - On August 5, 1962 - Marilyn Monroe (36 at the time) died from a barbiturate overdose.
