i completely and wholeheartedly agree with Joseph, he said "... This is a hit or miss for anyone watching this one. It all depends on your mood. It starts off pretty good and I thought I was going to love this one because of the interesting concept but it soon falls into the "ho-hum" category. Having said that, it did not keep my interest throughout. Strange film - boy keeps a zombie as a pet. Cool, huh? It could've been but it falls flat. Too bad." Again, i concur!

This film reminded me a bit of “Edward Scissorhands”. The plot is somewhat flimsy but “Fido” gets points for creativity and for its endearing characters.

Totally worth the watch! I was expecting just a B-Grade zombie spoof, but was pleasantly surprised. Reminds me of Edward Sissorhands.

A funny, realistic movie about a typical suburban family and their out of control robot. So well-written it all seems plausible.

Watchable (Fair) - This is a hit or miss for anyone watching this one. It all depends on your mood. I first saw this movie in the theatre and fell in love with it instantly. This movie is filled with dark yet campy humour as well as great performances from everyone in it.

I know it's supposed to be camp to like this kind of off-beat movie... like you're either part of the so-called joke going on in it - or get-atta-here... but other than some dark-humour lines delivered that work as irony, the movie didn't cut it for me. I couldn't get over the feeling that it was made for a particular kind of audience - and only that kind of audience (the kind that laughs when an arm is torn off and blood starts to gush out... and that's supposed to be funny!) so if you're mindset's not there already... you're in for some hurt - and I don't mean just what's going on on the screen. You're gonna hurt from having wasted 90 minutes on this - when you could have been watching a real zombie spoof: Shaun of the Dead... or really gone down the road to cinematic zombie excellence and viewed George A. Romero's Dawn of the Dead!
