I really liked this book. I've been on almost every diet in my life and this one sure makes more sense than most of them. I decided to join her group at Radiantrecovery.com. It's great to know I can eat potatoes again after all the hype about them being so carby. I really think the skin makes a difference and anything you can do to help your stress level and chemical balance is for the good. We live in a very stressful society and eat a very unhealthy diet, especially now that so many things are genetically modified. Maybe I'll finally lose weight, who knows?

Thoughtful analysis. Author explains the three-fold difficulty of sugar/alcohol addiction: low blood sugar, genetic shortage of beta-endorphine receptors and genetic tendency toward low serotonin levels. Sound nutritional and supplement advice. Nothing flashy - just good sound advice. Makes a strong case.
