KT Tunstall sells out with this album. Sort of. Her debut, "Eye To The Telescope", wasn't afraid to challenge its listeners. It had social commentary ("Other Side Of The World"), quirky near-surrealism ("Black Horse And The Cherry Tree"), and contemplative reflection ("Silent Sea"). "Drastic Fantastic" has none of these things. Lyrically, all it has is mush that (at best) sounds like it WOULD have meant something if it hadn't been watered down to suit the palates of "mainstream" listeners. Musically, on the other hand, this album is great. Where else on the radio will you hear a modern rock song with a reggae hook and Latin-style guitar? This album is perfectly fun and sounds good coming off the speakers. If this is selling out, people should try it more often.

KT is incredibly gifted and I always look forward to her new albums. She has a way of creating melody that gets you instantly hooked on a song.

Songs To Check Out: Saving My Face (my favourite), Funnyman, White Bird, Someday Soon, Paper Aeroplane.
