Unlike many this isn't about adventure, this is an anime about two genius fighting not physically but physiologically. Light Yagami, the top student in Japan, finds the death note and figures that it can kill somebody simply by writing their name in the death note. He then decides that he should use it to kill the worlds criminals and make the earth a better place, but then a problem arises when a genius detective, L, stands in his way stopping him from pursuing his plan. It gets even more and more interesting as the anime progresses. Highly recommended for anybody that likes to watch two geniuses try to checkmate each other.
